Why it is a range, and how it becomes one number
The estimator knows the kind of system and its size. It does not yet know your rules, your exceptions or the state of your records. Those are what the written scope finds out.

Questions about the estimator
Is the estimate a quotation?
No. It is a range worked out from the same rules we use. A quotation is the single figure in the written scope, which you get after a conversation and before you pay anything.
Why can you publish prices when other developers will not?
Because each price is for a defined first version, not for “a system”. The estimator lists what that version does. If you need more, the extras are priced too, and anything unusual is priced in the scope. See every rule.
What if my project is not in the list?
Choose the closest one and say what is different in the one-line box, or skip the estimator and describe the problem on WhatsApp. Many requests turn out to be one of these eight under another name.
What if my budget is smaller than the estimate?
Switch the estimator to “I have a budget”. It shows what that amount can build. Usually the answer is a smaller first version that solves the most expensive part of the problem, with the rest added later.
Is anything I type stored?
No. The estimator runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to us unless you press the WhatsApp or email button on the finished estimate.
