Mobile apps
An app in the store is the most expensive way to put software on a phone. Sometimes it is the right way. We will tell you honestly when it is not.
ADA Lab builds mobile apps for Android and iPhone from one shared codebase, from N$34,999.99, in 8 to 12 weeks. The price includes a web screen for managing content and users, and submission to Google Play and the App Store. Before quoting, we check whether a web app that installs from the browser would do the same job, because it often costs less than half.

Common questions
Android or iPhone first?
We build both from one codebase, so you rarely have to choose. If you must, most phones in Namibia run Android: 81.47% of mobile web use in September 2026, according to StatCounter.
Why is an app so much more than a web app?
There are two platforms to test on, store rules to meet, notifications to set up and every update to release through the stores. A web app has one version and no store. App or web app.
Who owns the app store listing?
You do. The developer accounts are opened in your organisation's name, so the app, its reviews and its users stay with you whoever maintains it.
How long does store approval take?
It is the stores' decision, not ours. Allow about a week for a first release, and expect that a store may ask for changes before approving. We handle the submission and any changes they request.
Describe the problem. We will send back a scope.
Say what is slowing the work down and who is affected. You get a one-page scope in plain words: what would be built first, how long it takes and what it costs. It is free, and you owe nothing if you do not go ahead.
