Business systems

For organisations that have outgrown spreadsheets, books and message groups. One set of records, the right access for each person, and reports that add themselves up.

In short

ADA Lab builds business systems around how your organisation already works: a system that replaces one spreadsheet or paper form from N$6,499.99, and a system for several departments from N$24,999.99. Each is built in weeks, shown to you every week or two, tested with your own people and handed over with the code, the data and the accounts in your name.

Scope

What is covered

  • Records: add, search, edit, archive
  • Logins, with a role for each kind of user
  • Approvals and sign-off steps
  • Reports and Excel export
  • A record of who changed what
  • Daily backups
  • Your existing records loaded in
  • Training and a short manual
Signs

When you need this

  • Several people edit the same spreadsheet and it keeps breaking.
  • Finding a record means finding the person who filed it.
  • The same details are written on three different forms.
  • Month-end figures take days to prepare.
  • Bought software does not follow how you actually work.

Every screen is drawn and agreed before any code is written.

  3. Build and demo

You try the real system every week or two and say what to change.

  4. Launch and care

Your people are trained, your records are loaded, and fixes are free for 30 days.

Questions

Common questions

How is this different from buying a ready-made package?

A package makes you work its way and usually charges per user every month. A system built for you follows your steps and has no fee per user. If a package already fits, buy it: build or buy.

Can it start small and grow?

Yes, and it should. The first version covers the one record that hurts most. Further parts are added as separate, priced steps once the first is in daily use.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every screen is designed for a phone first, because that is what most staff carry, and tested on an ordinary Android phone.

Who owns it?

You do, once the last stage is paid: the code, the data and the accounts it runs on. Who owns the code.

Describe the problem. We will send back a scope.

Say what is slowing the work down and who is affected. You get a one-page scope in plain words: what would be built first, how long it takes and what it costs. It is free, and you owe nothing if you do not go ahead.
