Integrations

Most organisations already own several good tools that do not talk to each other. Joining them is often cheaper than replacing any of them.

In short

An integration lets two systems pass information without a person retyping it. ADA Lab connects online payments (+ N$4,999.99), automatic SMS and WhatsApp messages (+ N$2,499.99), and other systems such as accounting or payroll (+ N$4,499.99 each). Before quoting we check that the other system allows a connection, and we tell you if it does not.

Scope

What is covered

  • A check of what each system allows
  • The connection itself, tested with real records
  • Handling of failures and retries
  • A log of everything sent and received
  • An alert when the connection breaks
  • Keys and passwords stored safely, in your name
Signs

When you need this

  • Payments are matched to orders by hand.
  • Customers are reminded only when someone remembers to message them.
  • Sales are retyped into the accounting package.
  • A fingerprint reader, scale or scanner has data nobody can use.
  • You are thinking of replacing a system only because it stands alone.

Sequence

How the work runs

  1. Check

We read what the other system allows and say plainly what can be done.

  2. Accounts

Provider accounts are opened in your organisation's name.

  3. Build and test

With small real transactions or messages, not only pretend ones.

  4. Watch

A log and an alert, so a broken link is noticed the same day.

Questions

Common questions

Which payment providers do you connect?

Whichever one you hold a merchant account with, provided it offers a way for software to connect. The provider is confirmed during the scope, because their terms, fees and requirements differ and change.

Can you send messages from our normal WhatsApp number?

Automatic messages go through WhatsApp's business service, which has its own sign-up, rules and per-message charges. We set that up with you. Your ordinary WhatsApp Business app carries on for conversations.

What if the other system has no way to connect?

Then we say so. Sometimes a regular file export and import is a workable second best. Sometimes the honest answer is that it cannot be done.

Who holds the keys and passwords?

You do. Provider accounts are opened in your organisation's name, and we work with access that you can withdraw.

Describe the problem. We will send back a scope.

Say what is slowing the work down and who is affected. You get a one-page scope in plain words: what would be built first, how long it takes and what it costs. It is free, and you owe nothing if you do not go ahead.
